It fits the bill well, for dark and moody.. the heavy dark colors give it an oppressive feeling, that is, until you realize how open, free, and alone it is.. I like this one a lot

I like this one,

It seems to have a hint of bloom to the lighting;
The reflections are very nicely caught;
and it seems sort of never-ending;

Beautiful :) I love how the light is mainly on the reflections in the water... it's just slightly unusual with such a heavily overcast sky. Very interesting :)

Very moody, indeed. It's such a long pier, I imagine I'd be very tired by the end of it...and with a sky like that, i might not even attempt it.
