Today marks a bit of a personal milestone for me.

I entered and completed a duathlon. 3.5km walk, 20km cycle, 1.5km walk to finish.

Thankfully it wasn't a 'racing' event, it was a 'get out and complete it' event, which made it much more fun and relaxed.

After years of struggling with weight issues and doctors etc etc, I'm finally on the road to better health.

Life is good.

I'm a hobbyist nature photographer, and a professional aerial photographer. Our business, Helipix Ltd, utilises RC aircraft to take low-level aerial photographs and video's.

I've been hanging out on dA for 8 years and it's my second home, which means I sometimes get grumpy with mum, dad can be a pest and the kids annoy the snot out of me, but overall I still enjoy my time here.

I keep to myself a lot, but if you ever want a chat or to ask a question, I'm approachable, so just give me a poke or a nudge or a jab with your big toe. Just don't leave a bruise.
